Today we continued studying NTFS rights on a hard drive and we corrected an exercice in which we had to set these NTFS rights to different users on some files and directories. These users could either be standard users or be granted administrator rights.

Today we also had an exam using computers. We had to plug an additionnal hard drive in a H61 chipset based motherboard. Then we had to restore a ghost image located in the second partition of the hard drive to the first one. Of course this hard drive has to be bootable to work and continue the exam.

I won't explain the whole thing as three sheets of paper were requiered to write the exam's questions. Everything should have been done in one hour and a half.

As for me I managed it almost perfectly! So that's a very nice thing just before Christmas! I can go further in this training and succeed!

Today we continued learning about files and directories access on a NTFS hard drive on a Windows based computer.

This afternoon we also had English lessons about technical aspects (vocabulary about computer parts for example) and grammar and vocabulary understanding while watching an English DVD on TV. Our teacher is also known as Andy Pudding when he performs on stage aside his job. You can find a photo of him performing here.
