Today we did several things about computers using Windows OS (Operating System). A little bit of diskpart on DOS to manage the hard drives and partitions available in the computer. How to create a bootable DVD using CDBurner software... And the big part : the NTFS (for New Technology File System) rights on files and directories on the computer's hard drive.

Here is a sample of what I noted today concerning this lesson :

Group par défaut sur W7

Globally it is to be understood that there are different levels of access on files and directories depending on what category of user is consered. Whether you are part of administrator or user group doesn't necessarily grant you the same access on files and directories. You can or cannot either write, read, run or modify a file or directory for example.
